Inept + Incompetent
Two alliterated but distinct adjectives describe our Rabbi, inept and incompetent. Inept refers to his clumsiness in public speaking. His focus is on the Word of God, his teaching is often too deep, he speaks too fast and has an accent that is difficult to understand. Incompetence describes his lack of skill in dealing with people, his council lacks sensitivity. He is focused on God’s will and not how people feel. He is a poor steward of time and resources, gives everything away and doesn’t know when to say NO. He does not lack education with BS in Bible from PCB (Philadelphia College of Bible) and an MA in Bible from BTS (Biblical Theological Seminary). Rabbi has served for fifty years in Jewish ministries with both American Board of missions to the Jews and more recently with the Friends of Israel retiring in 2022. He had published four evangelical theological books and so He is educated, experienced and accomplished. But mostly inept and incompetent.
